Partners in Faith

The vision for our parish is to keep the building filled with activity, community, faith, hope, and spirit. We have nurtured and built what is becoming a sort of "Partners in Faith" and will continue to work with the partners as one community to bring spiritual and nutritional well-being to the community around us.

ST. ANDREW'S ANGLICAN MISSION (Sudanese Community Church)
Sundays 1:00 pm. The Sudanese community bring a whole different flavour to the parish. This service is presented in both english and arabic. Priest in Charge, Justin Laki 
7:00 pm Sunday evenings - An alternative liturgical community within the anglican tradition, saint benedict's table cultivates a shared life emphasizing the arts and music, prayer and reflection, hospitality and servanthood. Offers a variety of food and nutrition service to inner-city Winnipeg, including emergency food and low-cost meals and groceries. Low-cost breakfast programs run Monday through Friday 8:00 to 11:00 am. Low-Cost Grocery runs downstairs Tuesday - Thursday 12 - 2pm. The focus on this inner city healing ministry is to work with Aboriginal people - Elders, women and children living in poverty. The components of this work include: individual and group counseling, support groups, providing workshops like parenting skills, communication and working with indivduals living on the street. In partnership with West Broadway, ministry is offered in a Senior's Program on Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 pm and a Parent Nutrition Program on Wednesday afternoons. Minister, Barbara Shoomski 
A joint ministry of All Saints' Anglican Church and Young United Church provides a safe, accepting environment in which services and programs are offered to respond to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the neighbourhood. In partnership with Kakinow Ntomakanik, ministry is offered in a Senior's Program on Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 pm and a Parent Nutrition Program on Wednesday afternoons.
